One of the best designed, CE/UKCA, Class 1 RED compliant, 4G/5G filtered masthead distribution amplifiers on the market.
Designed to remove or reduce 5G/4G LTE interference and amplify TV frequencies within the 21-48 band (470-694MHz). It has variable 1-16dB gain, low noise figures (<2.5dB typical) and uses F-type connectors on both inputs and outputs.
The filter characteristics are >30dB for frequencies <400MHz and Class 1 EN 303 354 compliant for 5G filtered frequencies. The amplifier also filters TETRA signals below 470MHz.
The case opens to a full 90 degrees and the shielded amplifier casing also swings out to 45 degrees, ensuring quick and easy access to the F connectors. The amplifier has an LED on the casing to confirm it is receiving power.
The case is further water resistant by a seal on the cable entry points, to preventing both moisture and insects. The case securely closes with a “solid click” but there is also an additional security screw fitted should it be needed.
The amplifier is designed with linearity in mind which allows the ability to handle strong local signals.
To ensure the lowest noise possible, we use a linear power supply rated at 100mA within the kit. Current consumption of this MHA is <50mA.
This also has dual-coloured LED to display short circuit issues running from green (normal) to red (short). The power supply also has infinite short circuit protection to stop damage to the unit.
